Lorraine Segal was a tenured community college professor for 20 years and endured repeated bouts of workplace bullying and mobbing at the school. She found ways to survive and eventually created a beautiful, nourishing new life for herself. She shares her story and what she learned along the way about life, love, conflict, and forgiveness. In honor of National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month

Bullying in the workplace is epidemic. But what is bullying? And how is it different from conflict? What is the role of conflict resolution professionals in dealing with bullying?

The panel of three experts are editors and/or contributors to the new book, STAND UP, SPEAK OUT AGAINST WORKPLACE BULLYING: Your Guide to Survival and Victory Through 25 Real Life Testimonies.

  • Share why and how this book came to be;
  • Define bullying and share the warning signs that someone is being bullied;

The National Workplace Bullying Coalition (NWBC) is holding its third annual conference on October 19, 2017, during National Bullying Awareness Month. Conference is ONLINE via webinar. Conference is $59 attend – all proceeds go to advancing the NWBC’s mission to advance education, conversation and legislation. Keynote speakers: Dr. Bob Sutton, Jenny Yang,and Laurence Weekly and additional speakers on topics including dealing with trauma, legal tools, what managers and organizations must do for transformational leadership.
